I'm formally educated in design, but possess a strong passion for development. I aspire to create beautiful design accessible to all people through UIs that are easy to use, maintain, scale, and evolve. My focus for the better part of a decade has been empowering developers with knowledge and tools through pattern libraries and components, while slowly becoming a developer myself. When I'm not on my computer, you may find me spending time with my wife and son, camping, traveling in our Airstream van, fly fishing, woodworking, spending time with our dogs, toying with home automation, aquariums, and increasing and expanding my knowledge of design and development.
