Successfully arguing for their inclusion of employability in this programme and then devising learning activities which encouraged career exploration and engagement with opportunities. These two modules were agreed and passed through teaching committees for inclusion in the certificate.● Leadership in embedding employability: Developed a comprehensive employability plan which presentedstatistics (DLHE, enrolment and attendance data) with a narrative which was adopted for use by Senior Careers Consultants to assess the extent of embedded employability and promote further embedding in line with the University’s strategy.● Leadership of central careers provision: Led and managed a team of seven employability professionals todeliver a programme of one to one support and group workshops to students and graduates. Increase numbers engaging with this service by 24% and reduce the number of students turned away by 34% across the 2018/19 academic year.● Embedding Employability: Working closely with departments and Senior Careers Consultants developed anembedded seminar which could be used to engage first year students with career management and thepersonal tutor system.● Bid writing: Successfully wrote a bid and was awarded £31,000 from the University’s Innovation Fund to fund a mentoring programme which was rolled out in summer 2021.● Acted up as Head of Careers between November 2018 ans February 2019. -
