I am a self-taught designer with over 20 years of experience that began in my home town at the Miami New Times.After some time hand-registering color separations and going on early morning press checks, I moved on to a traditional advertising agency where I went from Designer to Design Director within 5 years. During this time I refined my design capabilities working on branding, package design, and all sorts of advertising for mostly high-end residential developments. When the Miami housing market crashed, it was time for a change.I moved to Austin and made the switch to digital with Razorfish in 2010 as a designer on the Blackberry account. After Blackberry I worked on HSN, GE, and Delta. Currently I work on the Citi account as a Design Lead on the CRS Design System and other product design work.I love complex design systems, collaborating with developers and crafting experiences that give people joy.Outside of work I spend time with my family and pets, doing home projects, not riding my mountain bike enough and making strange, sometimes musical sounds, on my 0-coast and Bitwig with a glass of Light Circus IPA.
