Initially consulted with HEICO Aerospace and was requested to join as a VP for 18 months to restructure the IT Team, particularly the infrastructure team, and improve both the stability and delivery of critical business systems. Restructured the IT teams and personnel adding new talent in system administration, network engineering, project management, the support center, and application development. Improved application development testing reducing the load on Quality Assurance and Operations Support. Negotiated key contracts for business applications, Co-Location, telecommunications, technical support, and software licensing. Production business systems were reengineered and moved to a Co-Location center following a detailed six month project plan with three phases to insure uninterrupted business services and application availability.
