The only way you can succeed in life is to work to your fullest potential every day. I have tried to live my adult life by these words and strive to be the best employee that I can be. My name is James Dickman and I am currently a full-time student at Chandler-Gilbert Community College and a part-time cook at Barro's Pizza.In my senior year of high school, I got my first job at Barro's Pizza where I worked for 3 years as a cook. After going to community college for one semester I decided to give school a break and join the workforce. I applied to Boeing, an aerospace engineering and production company, where I was contracted as an Electrical Technician. As an Electrical Technician, it was my job to build the wire harnesses for the Boeing 747 and 767 commercial aircraft. During my time at Boeing I had excelled on the production floor at just age 19 averaging over 120% work production. This made me stand out, I was interviewed to get an official job at Boeing doing the same thing I was under my contract. I crushed the interview and got the job offer but I had to turn it down. I had seen what giving school a break was in 30 years. Many of my coworkers had been doing the same job for 30 years and had never moved up in the company. They simply could not because they did not have a degree. This is why I am back in school studying for a Business Administration Degree in hopes of going back to Boeing and moving my way up the administrative ladder.ContactLinkedIn or Email
