Collaborated with research departments at different universities to generate functional proteo-lipid arrays for drug screening and characterize via fluorescence microscopy and other surface techniques. Responsible for maintaining and implementing instruments, such as microscopes, lasers, ATR and UV-Vis spectrometers, and TIRF instruments, and software, including LabView programs for data acquisition and processing in commercial and custom-made microscopes. Developed microscope-based fluorescence assays of protein and lipid binding to surfaces to measure surface activity and biocompatibility.
