Identifies and reports electronic jamming and deception, and applies appropriate Electronic Counter Counter-Measures (ECCM). Performs complex and multifaceted tasks associated with stressed and unstressed network operations. Supervises and performs alignment, control functions, and direct support maintenance on assigned communications equipment. Ensures backup equipment, spares, and repair parts are available to sustain system operations. Compiles system and network statistics for reports.

Bagram, Afghanistan

Responsible for mentoring and training four Soldiers to Manage Regional Network Operations.Supervisor Responsibilities: Counseling/Mentoring Soldiers, Daily Reporting, Daily Briefs/Meetings, Conducting Training Classes.Regional Network Operations Responsibilities: -Manage events and incidents affecting the Army's Network IT infrastructure, distribution of service, and quality of service to ensure customer accessibility.-Collaborate with subordinate units and regional commands to investigate incidents and/or events within their respective area of responsibility.-Generate event and incident reports for dissemination to invested network operational personnel in accordance with the Commanders Critical Information Requirements (CCIR).-Provide and report accurate resolution to all events and/or incidents in the region. -Liaise with all external agencies invested to maintain positive network health.-Cut Communications Tasking Orders to distribute to regional commands to implement changes, updates, patching, and security scans to the network.

Fob Lightning, Afghanistan

Responsible for mentoring and training four Soldiers to run Help Desk operations.Supervisor Responsibilities: Counseling/Mentoring Soldiers, Daily Reporting, Daily Briefs/Meetings, Conducting Training Classes.Help Desk Responsibilities: Re-imaging computers; backing up images; password wiping; adding, deleting, editing users in Active Directory; setting up printers; granting access to share folders; creating mailboxes; backing up profiles; installing software; scanning discs; and troubleshooting.

Installs, configures, operates, aligns, conducts performance tests, and performs unit and direct support maintenance on tactical through strategic satellite communications equipment and associated devices. Conducts stressed and unstressed network operations. Performs operations, and maintenance and quality control tests on Digital Communications Satellite Subsystem (DCSS). Prepares system and equipment related forms and reports. Installs and maintains tactical satellite antenna equipment. Operates and performs Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on assigned communications equipment and vehicles. Installs, operates, and performs PMCS on power generators.

Kandahar, Afghanistan

Provided 15,000 users data and VOIP connectivity throughout Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Set up, monitored, troubleshot, and maintained the network through Satellite Communications equipment.

Ft. Gordon, Georgia

Trained and tested on setting up Tactical Satellite Communications equipment.Trained and tested on Cisco Routers and Switches (3500 Series).
