- Led team in the architecture of a scalable enhanced telephony services platform ultimately supporting over 400,000 local telephone subscribers and many of the products used by residential and business customers. Applications built in Java on Novera app server, Oracle 8, LDAP in Sun Solaris environment. - Directly or indirectly recruited, hired, organized and managed over 130 engineering and operational personnel including software architects and developers, database architects and administrators, web developers, operational infrastructure personnel, project managers and other administrative and support personnel. - Negotiated and managed relationship for several high value contracts with vendors of computing and telephony hardware and software including switching, enhanced voice and OSS components.- Built economic and business cases for several VoIP related technology solutions and led teams to evaluate and implement these technologies.
