👋 Hello there! And thank you for popping by, please drop me a message so i can introduce myself properly.I'm an experienced across marketing and web technology with a history in retail. I'm currently living on the idyllic edge of the Cotswolds. I originated from Worcester and I am a proud husband and father of three wonderful children.I started my career in retail at Weird Fish, joining the team as part timer in the warehouse packing orders and progressing to become the Ecommerce Manager. During my tenure, I spearheaded the growth of the company's website, increasing revenue from £250k per year to £12M. My responsibilities encompassed the entire website, marketing tech stack, CRM, and digital marketing. I also achieved key milestones such as the launch of two new websites and the implementation of the Exponea Customer Data Platform (CDP).Subsequently, I joined Ickle Bubba, first as Website Manager, in similar role. I then transitioned to IT Manager, where I successfully migrated the entire business from GoDaddy office 365 setup and on-premise file storage to a full cloud storage solution directly from Microsoft, just as the COVID-19 pandemic started.Currently, I'm working at Bloomreach Engagement (formerly Exponea) as a Technical Consultant, assisting clients with their data schema and integrations, focussing on improving time to value. My role frequently involves using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Jinja to build highly personalized marketing experiences across multiple channels, including web, app, email, SMS, and social media. I'm privileged to service some of the world's biggest brands like boohoo, PLT, Debenhams, and TFG South Africa.Away from work, I'm an Everton supporter where they usually ruin most weekends. Personal development is a key area of interest for me, as I believe in continuously learning and growing.I'm always open to connecting with professionals in ecommerce, tech, and retail.
