This internship provided the opportunity to work alongside a supervising professor in order to coordinate events within Binghamton University's Italian Language Department. Such events included internal programs for Binghamton's Italian student body, such as tutoring and educational events about Italian culture and society. The internship's involvement had started to reach outside the realm of the campus, as interns had been participating with local middle schools to inspire foreign language acquisition among younger language learners.
