I was responsible for training US Navy and civilian personnel on administrative and tactical skills prior to deployment operations in various locations around the world. This role included training over 8,000 personnel on skills such as cultural awareness, diversity and inclusion, leadership, and team dynamics as well as a variety of military specific courses. This joint service position was in partnership with the US Army, US Navy, and civilian contractors. Major accomplishments in this role include:• Successfully trained and mentored over 1000 civilians into soldiers with a 98% graduation rating.• Awarded Meritorious award for curriculum improvement that was used by three different organizations to include the US Army Maneuver Center of Excellence and the US Navy Augmentee Training Center.• Developed curriculum and programs of instruction to educate soldiers and civilians on various learning objectives related to US Army.• Validated training proficiency for over 8,000 US Navy personnel and 1,500 US Army personnel through assessment and testing of measurable standards.

I led a team of 10 career specialists and workforce development specialist in delivering career development services to clients in three counties of South Carolina. As a career development facilitator, I was responsible for providing career services and training to clients and staff. I developed training programs and processes to improve efficiency of staff.Major accomplishments in this role include:• Managed staff of eight case managers that maintain a participant level of 1200 WIOA program customers.• Provided one on one and group career development activities to participants and community.• Ensure that all participants are on track to meet or exceed individual employment and educational goals• Developed Individual Employment Plans to identify employment goals, appropriate achievement objectives, and appropriate activities and services for participants.• Developed and implemented SAP policy and case manager procedures for the Catawba Workforce Region.• Redesigned the Catawba Workforce center to allow for better efficiency and a more collaborative work environment with the seven agencies housed in the facility.

I was responsible for managing and leading a team of staff to deliver workforce development services to out of school youth.
