I led global policy development and strategy on Uber's approach to non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), with a focus on ridesharing and ridehailing. I worked with business, product, operations, and legal teams to provide strategic advice and guidance to support the Uber Health team and grow the mission to remove transportation barriers to health care delivery.

Better Medicare Alliance (BMA) is the leading policy and advocacy organization working to support and improve the Medicare Advantage program for all stakeholders. BMA is comprised of more than 100 ally organizations, including beneficiary advocates, providers, health plans, and aging services and other support organizations.Within BMA, I:- Work with BMA's President & CEO, former Congresswoman Allyson Y. Schwartz, to execute a comprehensive policy and research strategy, ensuring that BMA remains the leading Medicare Advantage policy and advocacy organization; - Track all relevant policy issues and developments related to Medicare Advantage/Part D and providing both internal and external education on those issues as required;- Lead the development of all policy materials, including: issue briefs, fact sheets, white papers, primers/reports, policy alerts, regulatory comment letters, and letters to the Administration and/or the Hill on various issues;- Develop a comprehensive policy research strategy and manage the development and dissemination of research findings; - Establish and cultivate relationships with key regulatory policymakers, including those within the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and with key Congressional members and staff as needed;- Convene recognized experts on targeted policy issues to identify potential areas of collaboration; and- Serve as a resource and authority on Medicare Advantage policy both internally and externally (by presenting at conferences, attending meetings, etc.)

I analyze and develop policy positions for the largest association representing post-acute and long term health care providers. I focus primarily on Medicare reimbursement policy and emerging payment and delivery system reform models such as accountable care, bundled payment, and other risk-sharing arrangements. Additionally, I manage the association's work on health IT policy.Primary duties include: drafting regulatory comments on proposed rules; drafting association testimony and statements for the record in response to Congressional inquiries and hearings; developing association policy positions; managing various policy research initiatives; reading and analyzing emerging legislation and regulations that impact post-acute and long-term care providers; developing educational materials (white papers, issue briefs, webinars, and live presentations) for the association's membership; representing the association at external meetings, presentations, and on various stakeholder coalitions; advocating to Congress and the Administration (HHS, CMS, and other agencies) on issues and policies pertinent to the post-acute and long-term care profession.

I work with a federal healthcare organization on organizational strategy and process improvement initiatives. I serve as a strategic advisor to a Director-level client on all matters relating to the organization's operation and direction.

Work to identify hospital best practices across the cardiovascular and radiology service lines, profile implementation of those practices across a wider membership.
