• Assisting DECD schools and preschools with improving their ICT environments and how ICT Services can help them by:
• Leading, managing and undertaking the implementation of an engagement framework that facilitates the gathering and management of critical business requirements, issues and objectives from across all DECD sites and.
• Contributing to the effective development, implementation and delivery of ICT systems and services across DECD sites and services to meet Departmental ICT Services delivery objectives.

• Assists the Manager E-School Services with the maintenance and system management of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) services and systems for the Learning Technologies group;
• Contributes to meeting directorate objectives through the provision of appropriate technical and advisory support services to clients and stakeholders with an emphasis on online intranet and Internet delivery systems;
• Contributes to/supports the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within the workgroup/unit;

• Responsible for the maintenance and system management of Information Technology and Communication (ICT) services for Technology School of the Future and the provision of technical support for the Education Development.

• Oversees and monitors specific components of workgroup/unit service provision;
• Contributes to/supports the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within the workgroup/unit.

• Assume technical delivery of quality service by liaising with consultants/training staff to anticipate needs for planned course work;
• Liaises with the Systems Manager EDC to organise suppliers and equipment providers with accurate information regarding network services;
• Provides timely technical support;
• Installs and manages peripheral equipment including, printers, plotters, CD-ROMS, zip drives etc;
• Maintains communication devices and computer aided manufacturing equipment so that it is operable and upgraded as required;
• Undertakes evaluation of software;
