An IT Security and Consultancy firm, I assist in the development/deployment of websites, as well as in the management of IT security and it's infrastructure. This work involves a constant evolution of ideas for tailored solutions.Two interesting projects involved planning around a potential IT disaster, and strategies for mitigating ransomware attacks. Both of these projects were then undertaken by us utilizing Synology technology and appropriate hardware based network security, and it was immensely satisfying to implement them through to completion and hand-off.Currently working on server migration of WHM sites from older versions of PHP to PHP 8 and MySQL to MariaDB.

I was an at-home carer for my severely autistic child. This involved careful planning to mitigate any emotional trauma as well as handling of emergencies. Practiced emotive listening as an alternative to verbal communication.

It was my privilege to be a lead software developer for this nationally recognized and 7 times award-winning organization - TN department of education. We created effective and engaging e-learning games for the state curriculum. My role was to develop these games from inception and design to deadline. I would help subject experts in choosing a game model appropriate for the teaching objectives through to it's final coding and uploading to our LMS. This extremely rewarding experience provided online courses for at-risk students, adults and for schools that didn't have the resources.

Designed and developed a bespoke e-commerce website for a mid-sized tri-state online aquarium business. Integrated online payments, requests for quotes, custom invoicing, customer support and management interface. Technologies used: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, PayPal API's.

Conducted in-depth interviews of customers and market participants, utilizing soft skills such as rapport building and non-biased question development.

Hosted pioneering annual European e-sports tournaments. Built, repaired and set up high-end custom gaming PC's using cutting edge processors and graphics cards. Sponsored by AMD and nVidia. Between tournaments, onboarded and trained new players and supported their PC and networking needs.
