David Hair and I founded nGROUP as a consulting business for temporary staffing agencies providing outsourced labor for their clients.We partnered with staffing agencies to help them identify the required workforce skills and engineered standards for their clients with high headcounts to improve operational efficiencies. Unfortunately, the temp workforce, while lower in costs, was not very productive. Businesses began approaching us directly to discuss labor challenges. Since we were not responsible for the temp agency's labor, we decided to take nGROUP in a different direction.
