I’m responsible for coordinating the Plus section for subscriber content, which involves writing, commissioning and editing copy on topical events from across the breadth of motorsport, including Formula 1, WRC, Indycar, MotoGP, WEC and more.

Further to my responsibilities on Autosport Performance, I am also responsible for the bi-monthly Engineering supplement, which covers some of the technical innovations and innovators that keep motorsport moving forward. Autosport Engineering launched online on January 11th 2018.

I am responsible for coordinating the Autosport Performance supplement, which seeks to provide aspiring racing drivers with expert advice from leading industry figures. The supplement alternates with Autosport Engineering on a bi-monthly basis. My role involves editorial, design and promoted content with relevant Performance partners across print and online platforms.

I was commissioned to write for the FIA WEC website on a freelance basis in March 2016. Articles covered a range of subject matters, from team and driver news to features and a guide to fan entertainments available at the 6 Hours of Silverstone. In April 2017 I joined the FIA WEC media team at the Monza pre-season test to generate news and feature content for the website and continued to write features throughout the 2017 season.

I was the sole correspondent for US-based website Sportscar365.com at the 2016 and '17 Nurburgring 24 Hours, and split my time between chasing news stories, writing topical features and session reports. Thereafter, I was given the opportunity to join the reporting team to cover the Le Mans 24 Hours in both '16 and '17, and the '16 season-ending WEC 6 Hours of Bahrain.

I became the editor of Racing.GT, a website specialising in GT-based coverage, in January 2016. With a remit of creating original content that was fresh and engaging, I attended races across the UK and Europe producing features and news stories that aimed to tell the stories behind the results, providing analysis that was not available elsewhere. I ceased this role when I became the Autosport Performance editor.

I began providing copywriting and InDesign services for specialist motorport publications Autosport and Motorsport News in 2016. After writing a report on the Dubai 24 Hours for Autosport magazine and website, I became a semi-regular contributor, covering the Silverstone 24 Hours, four rounds of the Blancpain GT Series including the final Endurance meeting at the Nurburgring. I wrote the European Le Mans Series season review for the magazine and was also featured in the 2017 ASI Engineering supplement and February's issue of Performance.During my time as a freelancer, I also provided remote coverage of the World Rally Championship and World RX on Autosport.com's live feed, and assisted with layout and sub-editing on press days.

I produced weekly 'Big Question' articles asking media colleagues for their take on topical issues in motorsport. These included the greatest street circuits of all time, and discussing the implications of the World Rally Championship's new regulations for 2017. In addition, I was tasked with writing features, including 'Le Mans: 5 reasons the 2015 race was awesome' and an interview with Martin Brundle about his return to racing in an LMP3 car at Le Mans in 2016.

I began writing for VICE Sports UK on a freelance basis, exploring issues such as Carmen Jorda's suitability to a F1 reserve role, the validity of Richard Branson's claims that Formula E will imminently overtake Formula One and a showcase on marshalling. This led to my inclusion in VICE's e-Generation, covering Season Two of Formula E, creating features and running their e-Newsroom liveblog.

In January 2014 I founded my own motorsport blog to serve as the basis for my portfolio. This provided a successful forerunner to my work on Racing.GT, focusing on original content - predominantly features - on a range of topics from the unseen role of the driver coach, to the allure of GT racing and a 24 hour survival guide. Furthermore, I used my blog to publish news articles live from trackside at European Le Mans Series and British GT events, in addition to profiling lesser known drivers that would be of interest to my predominantly British readership.

In 2014, I attended the Silverstone and Red Bull Ring rounds of the European Le Mans Series as accredited media, providing live race updates over social media, interviews and session reports. I also represented e-Racing at the FIA World Endurance Championship launch event at Kensington Palace and at the premiere screening of Journey to Le Mans, where my one-line review appeared on the promotional poster and DVD cover.I also attended the official 2015 WEC launch at the Royal Automobile Club, the 6 Hours of Silverstone and the Formula E season finale in London as accredited media.

I was responsible for liasing with the senior editorial team, organising content to feature in the sport section of the newspaper, editing contributor pieces and laying up pages using InDesign, as well as writing a topical editor's column in every other issue. This encouraged me to write about sports other than motorsport, including tennis, athletics and football. I was also heavily involved in the Media Collective's comprehensive coverage of 'Derby Day', the highlight of the university sporting calendar against Essex University. In addition to reporting and editing articles for the Derby Day special issue, I was also responsible for taking photos, many of which were used in the supplement (http://issuu.com/concreteuea/docs/derby_day_special_edition).

I provided distance coverage of the new TCR International Series, writing new stories and covering the first weekend of the championship at Malaysia. This involves writing to deadlines, whilst balancing academic commitments.

I provided live race updates of FIA World Endurance Championship races during the 2013 season and attended the Silverstone and Le Mans 24 Hours rounds as accredited media, where I conducted interviews, attended press conferences and wrote reports.

I worked two shifts a week during my second year of university, fulfilling a range of duties from pricing, shelf-filling and customer interaction on the tills.

This was my first regular writing slot, covering the NASCAR Sprint Cup. It proved a useful opportunity to learn and develop my writing style, getting into a routine of following the race and filing reports each week. Additionally, I attended the Brands Hatch DTM round and produced feature articles on a range of junior single-seater drivers competing in the European Formula 3 championship.
