James is a French/British PhD Candidate, interdisciplinary marine scientist, filmmaker, and consultant from the French Alps. He is the Founder/CEO of Blue Cradle, a marine conservation NGO based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Expert in marine affairs, James has spent time in the field and has unique relational abilities. Experienced project manager, he is able to work under pressure, managing risk and getting the job done. As a conscientious but also determined leader, he excels at bringing a team together working towards a common purpose. James understands success also comes from having to navigate many difficult, and complex challenges. Currently, he hopes to make a lasting difference to marine conservation, for ecosystems and the communities that depend on them, through collaboration, facilitation, education and strategic communications.
