I am currently supporting the Elective Recovery Programme Team within Lancashire & South Cumbria. This includes providing specialist BI advice and reporting solutions to numerous transformation boards and workstreams. Within this role, I have led on a range of new routine and adhoc analysis reports, collections and models. The role includes line management responsibilities across the wider team.

As an Information Manager I provided specialist BI advice and support to Central Lancashire CCGs that enabled informed commissioning decisions. This support included the planned care agenda, a PHM pilot, respiratory schemes of work and supporting contract meetings. I led numerous projects across a range of stakeholders which provided recommendations and solutions. The role included line management responsibilities.

My role included providing value-added analysis and insight to support commissioning at Blackpool CCG. This included using complex data from multiple sources and interpreting the analysis to provide useful conclusions. As part of the role I supported the design, implementation and development of reporting systems for the CSU and CCG. I also had line management responsibility for an Information Analyst.

Upon joining MLCSU, my time was split between the CSU performance team and the Blackpool CCG BI team. Whilst within the CSU based team I gained experience with a variety of performance data, where I continuously reviewed and improved Excel dashboards used by CSU customers. From September 2015 I was based full time within Blackpool CCG, where my responsibilities included providing BI advice and support, exploring trends and patterns within NHS datasets and producing written reports on my findings. I used SQL for quick manipulation of complex data sets and I took advantage of a number of professional courses that aided my development.

Working within the PbR team, my main responsibilities included the collection, validation and manipulation of large amounts of patient data to produce weekly and monthly reports to different levels of management. This included working with costing software and producing ad-hoc reports.
