Web Application Development:Created various web apps for multiple departments using ExtJS 2.x and Longana Framework for AJAX related data processing to a Lotus Notes Back-end. Created highly interactive web front-ends for existing mainframe apps using AJAX calls to stored procedures.For the Special Events department, created a web front for existing Credentialing application, allowing Media Credential Managers (external) to request Credentials for their employees. Media employees are able to upload and crop head shots and submit relevant information for credential badges via the application. This automated a manual process whereby the NHL Credential Manager would manually enter the requested people in a non-web application, and manually add photos received via email.Also for the Special Events Dept, created a complete Event Invitation (e.g. the Winter Classic) front-end allowing invitees to indicate if they will be attending, indicate and submit both complementary and paid ticket requests, along with credit card info, and hotel room requests as well as review information related to the event. Created scheduled process to pass ticketing related information (in the form of JSON) to the Archtics (Ticketmaster) API, eliminating the previous need to manually add data. Application Enhancement and Support: I was an integral part of the migration from Link 1/2 to Link3 (ExtJS 1.x to ExtJS 2.x); created a method to skin older applications in an iframe to allow migration without full recoding/migration of existing applications.Statistics Department: Created several applications to present mainframe data in a browser for senior management. Automated a daily process to create and email a PDF of nightly stats data to senior management.

Application Enhancement and Support: Supported various complex intranet and Notes based applications for a user base of approximately 5000 users. Specific applications included a Time off application for tracking employee’s time off, Client Value Survey, CRIP (Credit Request Initiation Process) and Gifts and Entertainment Tracking. Coordinated Employee Performance Management (EPM) upgrades with Hong Kong location.Managed Offshore Development Resources: Interfaced with clients, gathered requirements; created application specifications and project plans for Offshore Resources. Guided application development and created test plans for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). CSS: Create and support a web-based system which tracks individual yearly acknowledgement of compliance with various rules and disclosure of Outside Business Activities/Private Investments, with a web-based workflow. Yearly approval was for about 4,500 users.

Created and supported various complex intranet applications for a user base of approximately 1000 users. Applications included an Attendance Log application for tracking employee's time off, the Change Management application, the Spending Authorizations (SA1) Application and the Consultant Requisitions (CS1) application. Worked extensively with web-based applications, converting applications from the Notes client to the browser. Used advanced JavaScript and DHTML to achieve highly-interactive client interfaces. Supported various legacy Lotus Notes applications. Created an Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) interfaces for real-time highly interactive access to data stored in Remedy (Oracle 8i backend) via a web browser.

Worked with a team of developers on a Time and Expense Reporting system (TERS) used by McKinsey offices throughout the world. Ultimate user base was approximately 11,000 McKinsey consultants. TERS interfaced with multiple systems, initially receiving information from Oracle databases, collecting data from consultants via Lotus Notes and ultimately returning the data to the Accounts Payable system in Oracle. TERS was designed to be completely customizable and flexible for the individual McKinsey offices via user and administrator configurable options. Worked heavily with the Time Reporting portion of the tool.

Lotus Notes Developer Created apps for web and Notes; supported 400 databases over 50 servers. Existing DBs were upgraded from V3. Created ODBC link between Humanic (Oracle 8i backend) and Domino. Allowed employee data to be used in apps such as mail list automation, emp. directories. Created a web Calendar and Scheduling app with a complex set of business rules for conflicts and workflow, using adv. LotusScript, JavaScript, CSS and HTML. Created a web “Whom to Contact” dir, for employees to search by to find the people to contact for various needs. Created custom mail files to send mass mail to mail lists of addresses collected by a web signup form. Supported Quickplace implementation, configuration and customization, as well as troubleshooting and backend manipulation of Quickplace .nsf. Was part of a team, creating Domino apps for entering and routing Consultant Reqs, and Spending Authorizations. Individual participation consisted of JavaScript, CSS, UI work.

Lotus Domino Developer for Carrier Transicold Created Refrigeration Unit “Product Configurator”, quotation and order application for use by Sales Force and Dealer Network Created workflow enabled apps, both for Notes and web, such as a “Credit memo” app, a “Product Trouble” tracking database, with automatic email reminders, and a “Training Tracker” DB holding student enrollments, grades, and appropriate “response” letters. Contains an approval process and sends “confirmation faxes” via a Domino Fax server. Researched and Evaluated Wireless technology strategies. Evaluated relational database apps and outlined pros/cons of migrating to Notes/Domino; coordinated/implemented solutions, and/or internal business process changes. Participated in projects involving web enabling of legacy data. Third level support for a global Lotus Notes/Domino environment.

Lotus Domino Development duties: Implemented “role-based” security on key Notes and web applications. Created and modified: views, forms, sub-forms, fields, ACL etc., Level 3 support for a global Lotus Notes/Domino environment. Support includes configuration, upgrades and maintenance of NT servers; Domino servers; administrative support of email and databases. Part of planning and execution of projects w/ Notes. Projects included: migration from cc:Mail to Notes Mail, roll-out to field personnel, integration of Act for Notes, use of Domino.Fax, training of both end-users and IS staff. Provided cc:Mail admin support, including creation of IDs, instructional support, general diagnostics, addressing problems. Provided second level cc:Mail support for all salespeople and dealers, including initial setup and general instruction. Responsible for level 1 support for Help Desk. Designated and coordinated technicians and all other IT support staff for on-site repairs.
