The Director, Investment Solutions was created to form a critical component to Perpetual Investments’ Distribution Plan and strategy for the listed and direct investor markets, which is estimated to be a significant growth market for the business.The role will own the end-to-end responsibility of developing & implementing a business plan for the listed and direct market.The Director, Investment Solutions, reports directly into the Global Head of Distribution.Member of the Leadership Team.Key responsibilities• Present at key events including investor and adviser days• Be the “face of Perpetual”, especially in the listed and direct markets• New business development across both the broker and adviser channels• Partnering with the Perpetual Product team on idea development for listed products, including ETMFs• Accountability for developing and maintaining an appropriate communications plan• Servicing of existing clients for Perpetuals two listed vehicles• Liaising with the dedicated Marketing Channel Manager to service the listed client base• Oversight of a newly created Investment Writer function.• Input into the broader distribution strategy for Australia and other countries for the listed spaceKey Achievements• Developed a business strategy for listed investments at Perpetualo Aim to raise FUM in the Listed Investment Companies o Develop a plan to launch 6x EMTFs. ASX GLOB raised $200m by mid 2023o Develop a contemporary “hybrid model” for listed funds distribution • Developed a business plan for Direct Clients (circa $2 billion in FUM).o New methods of communication and engagement required (email, robo, internet developed).• Developed and maintained relationships with broking firmso Broaden and deepen broker relationships to ensure that we maximised the value of our relationships
