Responsible for post-FEED scope development, pricing, scheduling and contract negotiation for Matrix Service’s EPC contract for Keyera Energy Inc.’s Wildhorse Crude Oil Terminal in Cushing, OK. The Wildhorse Terminal will be comprised of twelve (12) crude oil storage tanks ranging in size from 250,000 bbls to 500,000 bbls and one (1) 20,000 bbl transmix tank, with a total storage capacity of 4.52 million bbls of crude oil. The facility will have three (3) 15,000bph crude oil transfer pumps, interconnecting pipelines to adjacent terminal facilities and tank/pumping manifold system.

Responsible for managing all aspects of Matrix Service’s US$375MM EPC contract with Energy Transfer Partners Ltd. for the Dakota Access Terminals Project (DATP). The DATP comprises six (6) crude oil gathering and storage terminals located in the Bakken oil fields in northwest North Dakota and associated pumping facilities. The terminals have a combined total of 14 fixed cone roof tanks with internal floating roofs ranging in size from 100,000 bbls to 200,000 bbls with a total working storage capacity of 1.94 million barrels of crude oil and include 60,000HP of installed pipeline pumping capacity. These crude oil gathering terminals feed into Energy Transfer’s Dakota Access Pipeline. Matrix Service was responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of all six terminals, including all site preparation, civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation. Construction commenced in February of 2016 with facilities operations commencing in Q1 of 2017. The workforce for the project peaked at over 900 direct hire and subcontract craft workers and 120 construction management staff across all six (6) sites.

Full P&L responsibility for the Western Canada operations of Matrix Service Company. Currently Matrix provides engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction services for new atmospheric storage tanks (ASTs) and tank repairs in Western Canada. When complete the project will move in excess of 1.2 million barrels of oil per day from Alberta to Refineries and Marine Shipping Terminals in Quebec and Saint John, New Brunswick. The project consists of: - 1400 km of new 42" pipeline - conversion of approx. 3000 km of 42" gas pipeline to crude oil services - 4 tanks farms - 1 each in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec and New Brunswick - 2 marine terminals - 1 each in Quebec and New BrunswickCurrently in FEED stage with NEB filing scheduled for 2014 the project is schedule to be completed in 2018.

Leading the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Team for the design and construction of Phase 1 of the Iraq Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP), which is estimated to have a TIC of approximately $5 billion. Responsible to manage the completion of all Pre-FEED survey work, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up. Phase 1 of the CSSP will see the treatment and delivery of 6.7 MMBWPD of seawater to the southern Iraq oil fields (the ultimate capacity of the CSSP will be 12.5MMBWPD to be developed in subsequent phases). The seawater will be transported to the oil fields via multiple pipelines (nominal size of 48") in approximately 210km of pipeline corridor.

Responsible for the delivery of a FEED for the development of ADCO's new 40,000BOPD Bab Habshan 1 Oil Field with an estimated TIC of $220MM. Performed verification of the Conceptual Study and then, based on suggested modifictions to the Concept, performed the FEED to connect 15 oil producer wells to existing gathering stations, connect 15 water injection wells to three (3) new water injection supply well pumping facilities, three (3) new water injection clusters to provide 90,000 BWPD, tie-ins to existing gathering stations, a new 20" oil transfer pipeline and tie-ins to ADCO's Bab Central Processing Facility. The FEED, including procurement support for Long Lead Items, was completed in 12 months and required approximately 42,000 manhours to execute.

Responsible for the execution of the detailed design of Iraq's first Greenfield oil facility in 20 years - the 120,000 BOPD Ahdeb Oil Field Development Project. CH2M HILL was responsible for the design and procurement support for the 120,000 BOPD Central Processing Facilities, the 86mmscf/d x 1.2 Natural Gas Processing Facilities, a 71.1MW (9x7.9MW) Power Plant, and the Produced Water Treatment/Injection Facilities. The design also included all ancilliary systems, such as the flare system, utilities, and oil storage. TIC of the facilities was approx. US$2 billion.CH2M HILL was the engineering subcontractor to Chinese EPC Contractor CPECC. The project was extremely fast tracked going from the firm decision on a 120,000BOPD, 2 train configuration in June 2010, to completion of Phase 1 (60,000BOPD) engineering by April 30, 2011 and Phase 2 engineering by July 15, 2011. All facilities were also designed to allow for the future addition of two additional trains to bring total processing capacity to 200,000BOPD. To meet the fast tracked schedule resources were utilized from both CH2M HILL's Abu Dhabi and New Delhi offices.

Responsible for all technical operations, including field engineering, quality assurance, project controls and estimating support to projects. Also responsible for business acquisition activities, including marketing, business development, proposal preparation and estimating. Provided construction input and value engineering to assist BORCO/Vopak Terminals Bahamas in reducing capital cost of the project to add 6 Million Barrels of Oil storage capacity to their terminal in Freeport, Bahamas to ensure the project was viable. Succeeded in providing value engineering solutions that were able to reduce the overall project costs by 5%. Assisted in the selection of the EPC Contractor and negotiation of the EPC Contract. Also responsible for design of modifications to a dock facility for loading/unloading of vessels.Truned the project over to the Construction Management team in June 2010 and remained as CH2M HILL’s Project Sponsor for the execution phase of the work, supporting the Construction Management team as required.

Senior Project Engineer/Assistant Construction Manager on a US$145M prison for the Government of Barbados, performed as a design-build-own-transfer contract. The prison, comprising 16 buildings with over 210,000 ft2 of floor space, houses 1250 inmates and includes its own water and sewer systems as well as a 100% capacity emergency generator. Responsible for performing constructability and cost to construct reviews to optimize the design of the prison, preparation of tender packages, and part of the bid review and subcontract negotiation team for all subcontracts. Responsible for all field technical matters as well as management of subcontracts, schedule control and quality assurance.

Senior Project Engineer/Assistant Construction Manager responsible for detailed design, through construction and commissioning of a new $55M fuel terminal facility, including nine (9) API storage tanks with storage capacity of 300,000 barrels of crude oil and refined petroleum products, marine loading and unloading, 26km of pipelines, booster pump station, and truck loading facilities in Barbados, West Indies. The facility imports jet fuel, gasoline and diesel and exports crude oil produced on the island. During the detailed design phase, responsible for coordinating the design of all facilities, including performing constructability and cost to construct reviews. Responsible for preparation of tender packages, and part of the bid review and subcontract negotiation team for all subcontracts. During construction, responsible for all field technical matters as well as management of subcontracts. Led the check-out and commissioning team.
