Responsible for post-FEED scope development, pricing, scheduling and contract negotiation for Matrix Service’s EPC contract for Keyera Energy Inc.’s Wildhorse Crude Oil Terminal in Cushing, OK. The Wildhorse Terminal will be comprised of twelve (12) crude oil storage tanks ranging in size from 250,000 bbls to 500,000 bbls and one (1) 20,000 bbl transmix tank, with a total storage capacity of 4.52 million bbls of crude oil. The facility will have three (3) 15,000bph crude oil transfer pumps, interconnecting pipelines to adjacent terminal facilities and tank/pumping manifold system.

Project Director - Dakota Access Terminals Project

Responsible for managing all aspects of Matrix Service’s US$375MM EPC contract with Energy Transfer Partners Ltd. for the Dakota Access Terminals Project (DATP). The DATP comprises six (6) crude oil gathering and storage terminals located in the Bakken oil fields in northwest North Dakota and associated pumping facilities. The terminals have a combined total of 14 fixed cone roof tanks with internal floating roofs ranging in size from 100,000 bbls to 200,000 bbls with a total working storage capacity of 1.94 million barrels of crude oil and include 60,000HP of installed pipeline pumping capacity. These crude oil gathering terminals feed into Energy Transfer’s Dakota Access Pipeline. Matrix Service was responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of all six terminals, including all site preparation, civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation. Construction commenced in February of 2016 with facilities operations commencing in Q1 of 2017. The workforce for the project peaked at over 900 direct hire and subcontract craft workers and 120 construction management staff across all six (6) sites.

Phase 1 of the CSSP will see the treatment and delivery of 6.7 MMBWPD of seawater to the southern Iraq oil fields (the ultimate capacity of the CSSP will be 12.5MMBWPD to be developed in subsequent phases). The seawater will be transported to the oil fields via multiple pipelines (nominal size of 48") in approximately 210km of pipeline corridor.

Project Manager - Adco Bab Habshan 1 Development Project Feed

Responsible for the delivery of a FEED for the development of ADCO's new 40,000BOPD Bab Habshan 1 Oil Field with an estimated TIC of $220MM. Performed verification of the Conceptual Study and then, based on suggested modifictions to the Concept, performed the FEED to connect 15 oil producer wells to existing gathering stations, connect 15 water injection wells to three (3) new water injection supply well pumping facilities, three (3) new water injection clusters to provide 90,000 BWPD, tie-ins to existing gathering stations, a new 20" oil transfer pipeline and tie-ins to ADCO's Bab Central Processing Facility. The FEED, including procurement support for Long Lead Items, was completed in 12 months and required approximately 42,000 manhours to execute.

Responsible for the execution of the detailed design of Iraq's first Greenfield oil facility in 20 years - the 120,000 BOPD Ahdeb Oil Field Development Project. CH2M HILL was responsible for the design and procurement support for the 120,000 BOPD Central Processing Facilities, the 86mmscf/d x 1.2 Natural Gas Processing Facilities, a 71.1MW (9x7.9MW) Power Plant, and the Produced Water Treatment/Injection Facilities. The design also included all ancilliary systems, such as the flare system, utilities, and oil storage. TIC of the facilities was approx. US$2 billion.CH2M HILL was the engineering subcontractor to Chinese EPC Contractor CPECC. The project was extremely fast tracked going from the firm decision on a 120,000BOPD, 2 train configuration in June 2010, to completion of Phase 1 (60,000BOPD) engineering by April 30, 2011 and Phase 2 engineering by July 15, 2011. All facilities were also designed to allow for the future addition of two additional trains to bring total processing capacity to 200,000BOPD. To meet the fast tracked schedule resources were utilized from both CH2M HILL's Abu Dhabi and New Delhi offices.
