As a program manager there James recruited and led the team that designed and launched CBC Radio One’s new channel on Sirius Satellite Radio, delivering the inaugural broadcast on a four week deadline. He subsequently managed the on-going broadcast team as the channel achieved the status of number one Canadian channel on Sirius Radio. He oversaw the Radio One overnight programming schedule (daily 1 a.m. – 6 a.m.) and rejuvenated it with new programs and a new sound. James also managed the creative team that was responsible for the on-air promotion for Radio One and Two as CBC Radio’s listener ratings rose to the highest in history. -
