Mr. Ritter is a license Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri based in Jacobs Engineering Group's Saint Louis, Missouri office. He joined Jacobs via their December 2017 acquisition of CH2M. He specializes in transportation planning and design with an emphasis on highway and traffic safety analysis (Highway Safety Manual principles and methodologies), NEPA planning and location studies, and preliminary and final roadway design. Mr. Ritter has progressive experience on multiple environmental planning studies, analysis of existing and predictive highway and traffic safety, urban arterial and freeway design, roadway drainage design, Great Streets/Complete Streets design, planning and design of bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. Some of the projects he has worked on include multiple highway and traffic safety studies, environmental studies, complex urban freeway design, Great Streets/Complete Streets preliminary and final designs, preliminary roadway and station design for an urban trolley. Other work on transportation projects includes Design-Build Owner's Consultant, geometric design, drainage design, bicycle accommodations, pedestrian improvements, and predictive safety analysis.
