My experience working globally, in countries such as USA, North East Asia, South East Asia and ANZ, provides a unique perspective and strong cross-cultural competencies.An agile thinker, I have the ability to quickly synthesise vast amounts of data, and find new ways of connecting the data into a strategic decision to implement the optimal and sensible next steps. I've delivered multiple digital and technology transformations, and helped businesses pivot to business models that create increasing value from their data. Whilst managing the Digital Innovation hub at UNE, I took a never previously attempted concept of massifying higher education and launched to market the first-of-its-kind startup in uneOpen. The ability to create personalised education outcomes outside of the traditional qualification, became the business model and blueprint to innovate what university education could really look like.In my spare time, I contribute to and volunteer in a number of roles, including as Company Secretary for DAMA Australia, the Australian chapter of the global peak body Data Management Association. I currently serve on the board of Weldon Children's Services. Previously I was the Secretary for the Employee Assistance Professional Association of Australasia, a peak body member organisation. I chaired the working committee of the Curran Access Children's Foundation. I'm currently a member of the marketing committee for Study NSW, NSW Department of Treasury. I currently serve as a non-executive director for a early childhood not for profit, Weldon.
