Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) July 2017 – PresentCareer Counselor/Instructor• Provide individual counseling for over 30-35 military personnel per week and enable personnel to ask questions and seek clarification on specific topics regarding transition and employment. • Schedule up to 7 per day in one-on-one initial appointments and follow-up with reviews of documentation to complete benchmarks which results in completing and Individual Transition Plan for each military personnel. • Conduct employment workshops and military to civilian transitional workshops for 10-50 military personnel to allow for questions to be answered and outreach information completed. Set-up and remove exhibits and booths at approved events. • Assist and complete all deliverable for military personnel to request final documentation for the next career choice and complete the GAP analysis. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with management to ensure all clients have needs exceeded and understanding of all resources accessible.• Think long-term and continually grow a pipeline of qualified candidates and suggested positions and options that fit the clients the best.• Share great candidates with other team members and organizations and continue to stay in touch regarding future opportunities with our growing and expanding business.• Network to develop and maintain strong working relationships with community organizations and other team members to create a partnership that yields success for clients and organizations.
