In May 2000, Mr Peter Lockhart of Brisbane Investment Manager DDH Graham Limited and I created AMG Super, a complying Australian public offer superannuation fund. Representing our respective businesses, Peter and I operated the promoter and manager of AMG Super. The fund has grown continuously since that time and Peter and I are now non-executive directors (Peter Chairman), with a full-time staff.

With my wife, Debra Kolkka, in 2010 we purchased and re-constructed a farmhouse close to the mountain village of Vergemoli in an area in north-western Tuscany known as The Garfagnana. The house has been named Casa Debbio. It sits on 1 ha of land. The house is available for holiday lettings-refer www.casadebbio.com The house had not been lived in for more than 50 years and was in such bad condition that it was not able to be saved and had to be replaced. The construction took about two years and was completed in 2014. Since that time, we have built the gardens around the house and on the terraces above and below the house.
