As the National Education and Policy Manager at NRL Touch Football, I have overseen large-scale projects and national education initiatives that reflect my strategic vision and commitment to driving positive change within the organisation and the broader sports community. Key projects include:- Centralised Learning Management System: Led the centralisation of TFA's Learning Management System (LMS) in partnership with etrainu, branded as "The Nest" within the community. Spearheaded the digital transformation of courses and resources, resulting in the accreditation of over 20,000 volunteers. This transition drove a 21% year-on-year growth in course participation from 2021 to 2023.- Inclusion Advocacy: Championed the Trans and Gender Diverse Inclusion Guidelines, helping TFA achieve Bronze Status and a 23% improvement in the Pride in Sport Index. Also led the development of TFA's inaugural Reconciliation Action Plan, advancing the organisation's commitment to diversity and inclusion.- Volunteer Support: Streamlined TFA’s sport policy suite, including the National Integrity Framework, ensuring policies were user-friendly and the touch football community is safeguarded. Delivered nationwide education sessions to support policy implementation and created user guides to ease volunteer workload.

As the Chair of The University of Queensland Touch Football Association (UQTFA), I have achieved the following results in the sports industry:- Governance and Strategic Planning: Led governance improvements, including the successful amalgamation of clubs. Championed off-set terms, gender equity requirements, and sub-committee terms of reference. Launched the UQTFA Strategic Plan, aligned with governing bodies, to grow participation and meet performance benchmarks.- Relationship Management: Built strong partnerships with key on-campus stakeholders, including the University and UQ Sport, fostering collaboration and support. Managed relationships with state and national governing bodies, leading to continuous improvements in competition and program delivery.- Diversifying Revenue: Established the UQTFA merchandise shop, generating annual profits to be reinvested into competitions and programs. Partnered with the University to launch the UQTFA Legends Lunch corporate event, raising funds for scholarships aligned with UQ’s The Queensland Commitment and attracting greater corporate support.- Participation Growth: 64% increase in team and participation numbers from 2022 to 2024 under a new strategic plan. Expanded junior club involvement and competition offerings and championed inclusion initiatives including All Abilities, Pride Round and Indigenous Round.- Performance: Transformed club performance from missing finals in 2015/2016 to achieving six club championships, seven state titles, three national titles, and seven premier division titles between 2017 and 2024. These successes stem from an empowering leadership style to trust our commitment to incremental program improvements and the promotion of values-based behaviours within the club culture.
