With over 20 years in healthcare management and a current focus on cybersecurity, I aim to strengthen healthcare systems against digital threats to keep sensitive patient information out of reach from threat actors. At AllegiantVets, I broadened my cybersecurity skill set. My military background in healthcare and now cybersecurity can bring a unique perspective to any organization.I am detail-oriented and committed to safeguarding organizations and the people they serve. I am knowledgeable about NIST frameworks and can implement security controls to ensure compliance with international regulations related to data protection. Experience with identifying threats, risks, and vulnerabilities; security hardening; threat modeling; and incident escalation and response. Performed online labs on Linux command line, SQL, and Python. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Recently completed the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, a rigorous, skills-based program that conveys key cybersecurity knowledge and skills. I am pursuing the CompTIA Security+ cert as well as Microsoft's Cybersecurity Analyst course.With all that being said, I am also open to any healthcare administrative roles that are open.
