I am an experienced Chartered Accountant with a strong passion for helping others and a proven ability to solve complex issues facing businesses.Currently assisting the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through a period of change. Following changes of key senior staff, I have provided ongoing support of critical functions whilst new team members are recruited. Such activities have included, maintaining the financial reporting, attribution and unitised holding for the Catholic Foundation Endowment Portfolio ($140m+ funds under management), having oversight of the entire Vehicle Fleet & Procurement function (c.400 vehicles) and most recently, acting as Finance Manager for the Internal Treasury of the Church, the Archdiocesan Development Fund ($2B funds under management). I continue to have a passion for working with complex data, analysing and interpreting it and providing understandable output to key decision makers of a business. I possess a keen ability to explore the intricacies of a business to identify more efficient ways to achieve outcomes & deliver increased value to the customer. Throughout the height of the COVID pandemic, I provided strategic and operational support to Paediatric Potentials Occupational Therapy. During a time of great change in the external environment, I worked with the team to continue to provide stability and an unchanged high quality of service. Together with a team of 15 others, we successfully transitioned a historically, clinic-based approach to a multi-modal telehealth service. Instead of children using their finger to form letters in shaving foam, we harnessed technology, using iPad input and video conferencing. The pandemic uncovered diverse skills and attributes that were needed to navigate great uncertainty, which further strengthen my ability as a professional in business.My earlier career in tax compliance and advisory services provided a broad and thorough understanding of business.
