Grew ReNEWed brand product offerings to dealers and end users. Manage engineering document release staff.• Established stand-alone engineering release process for remanufactured product lines, allowing full authority and accountability to reside within the department.• Launched ReNEWed turbocharger and fuel injector for In-line product; 5M/year new business, and reached over 11M in cost reductions in FY 2013.• Created department specific release process, within Team center environment, reduced product time to market by 6 months.• Accountable for complete product life cycle from concept to post production quality.

Assembled and lead a 8-person Regional Headquarters Engineering Staff in design, test, and delivery of customer- and application-specific diesel engine packages for the OEM markets in North and South Americas. Travel extensively throughout the region and work closely with designers, distributors, key OEMs and DOEMs to assure that each engine and associated kit, including radiators, air cleaners, mounts, and other peripheral systems meet form, fit, and function specifications.

Began employment as a Design Engineer and was repeatedly promoted to ending position as Product Manager.; Managed a team of 14 UAW drafters in the Design and Validation Documentation and Release Group. Oversaw release of products to manufacturing and provided technical leadership for creating and maintaining 3D and 2D designs across six engine programs. Allocated staff to meet the Engine Division requirements and business goals.Responsible for final sign-off on production drawings.Conducted performance reviews and established growth plans within UAW guidelines.

Served as Lead Valve Train Design Engineer for all in-line, 6-cylinder, medium-duty engines coordinated all phases from concept through production. Was promoted to assume increasing responsibility for supervision and coaching of junior engineering staff, establishing training and performance objectives and schedules. Established production intent supply sources and procured prototype parts to support the APQP process and build requirements, completing all work in compliance with QS9000.• Led Design and development of a valve-actuation system for a 4-valve cylinder head.• U.S Patent Holder #6,913,267; Patent Pending, #20050183684.• Designed test rigs for component lifecycle testing.• Created and was accountable for valve train FMEA and DVP&R.
