Jim is an experienced IT services professional with a record of accomplishments in leading and managing organisations, departments and teams developing and delivering business, mission and safety critical solutions. His management expertise covers senior operational roles related to software development and delivery, technical consulting, innovation, outsourcing, quality assurance, team building, staff development, recruitment and training. Having worked in the software industry for over 30 years at all levels from developer up to Board level, and been part of a successful MBO, he has built up a wealth of knowledge in corporate strategy and goverance, IT services delivery and all aspects of software solutions development. Jim undertakes interim operations/technology management roles and consulting engagements, as well as advisory and mentoring roles.Throughout his career, Jim has worked with a broad range of clients across civil government, defence, transport and finance including NATS, Highways Agency, Audit Commission, NHS, Thales, Atkins, Mouchel, Ultra Electronics, Imperial Tobacco, Nationwide, Zurich, Endsleigh, St James’s Place, Teachers Assurance, Lockheed Martin and BP.
