To execute Field service work at on shore and offshore as instructed by Field Service Head.Carryout the tasks on new installations, maintenance and repairing activities on Turbo Compressors (Axial Compressor, Radial horizontal/ Barrel type compressors, Screw compressors/Gear compressors/isotherm compressors etc.,), Steam turbines, Expanders and other rotating equipment.Independently take over and carry out temporarily the leading tasks at site.Ensure that all findings and work done is clearly reporting in writing.Responsible for the quality, safety and work performance.Perform all work at site in a safe, efficient, neat and timely manner.Prepare list of tools, measuring instruments, special fixtures, consumables etc. as required for the field service projects.Disassemble/reassemble rotating equipment on site including recording all the required data and proper marking of all the parts.Independently fill the time sheet, expenses report and other technical documentation correctly and submit them regularly.Assembly of work to prescribed clearances/clearances as dictated by the manufacturer’s specifications or good engineering practice.At completion of field assignment, ensure all equipment is cleaned and good condition to meet the customer expectations & MDT standards.At the end of each filed service assignment, a field service report to be completed in minimal time.Flexibility to work longer hours, weekends, shifts etc., to meet the customer scheduling requirements.Completing all other documentation applicable to each field assignment.Rotary Equipment Erection & Overhauling services such as Steam Turbine, Axial/Radial/Barrel type Compressor, Expander, Gear box, Turbair & Screw Compressor of MAN & other OEM such as Siemens, Hangzhou, GE etc.Independently take over and carry out the leading task at site. Ensures that all findings and work done is clearly reported in writing.

Deputed with Siemens but On Contract with RKS Engineers & ConsultantsTurbine Erection- Responsible for complete turbine erection work as per the Standards approved “Field Quality Plan “requirement of the turbine manufactures i.e. Siemens Turbine manufacturing co. ltd. Germany, Vadodara.Alignment- Taking the various readings like Rotor journal run out, Coupling face run out, float value, thrust float value, steam flow path, Thermal clearances, axial & radial readings, after the necessary correction align the rotors & meet the design requirements.QA/QC- All the activities are witnessed by the quality persons, fulfilling their quality requirements & maintaining the protocols for each activity for the purpose of future maintenance work.Commissioning & Test- After completion of erection activity needs to commission & test the system i.e. Vacuum pulling test of condenser, Air tightness test of Generator, Hydro test the water cooling lines, H2 Gas filling in to the Generator & Oil Flushing of lube oil lines.Planning- Planning for turbine, Generator erection activities for day to day & monthly basis to meet the actual schedule & also report to company’s planning department for progress report.Co ordination- Need to co ordinate with contactor & Siemens for the various resource (manpower, tools, cranes, material, transport vehicles) requirement of projects, co-ordination with internal departments at the stage of relevant work of respective department, need to co ordinate for the material as per the requirement onshore & offshore both.Erection projects includes (Deck inspection, Placement of TG, Erection of auxiliaries equipments, Fabrication of pipe lines IBR & NIBR, Leveling & Rough alignment, Lube oil flushing & Normalizing, Pre-commissioning activities)
