For 22 years, Tekton and its construction arm, Artisan Builders Corporation, Inc., provided Architecture, Interiors, Project Management and full Construction Services for Residential, Commercial and Hospitality clients throughout the Bay Area and Wine Country. My 29-year membership in the American Institute of Architects has provided me consistent volunteer opportunities to contribute back to the profession on local, state, and national levels. In 2021, I was honored to be elevated into the AIA College of Fellows.I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, into a multi-cultural & multi-lingual family. My mother, born in Cali, Colombia, is of Spanish and Sephardic Jew descent from the Iberian Peninsula; my father was born in Saratoga Springs, New York and of English-Dutch descent.South Florida was my residence until I moved to Lake Tahoe, then migrated west again to the Bay Area. Currently proud to call the Midwest my home and living in Lincoln, Nebraska. My wife Sara is from North Platte, NE, and our son Matthew graduated in Journalism at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and works in in sports marketing.I have been a life-long professional musician and once played in front of 100K-plus people. My penchant for living in the moment had me exploring many adrenaline-filled outdoor pursuits my entire life and I still relish such challenges as they present themselves.
