Conway, Arkansas

Served as Chair of Department of Military Science and Leadership, responsible for recruiting, academic instruction, and training of personnel, as well as management of the department. Responsible for leading multi-university Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program consisting of 103 cadets, seven cadre, and four civilian staff members. Accountable for integrity of academic instruction throughout department and execution of numerous field training exercises to solidify lessons learned in the classroom. Personal attention to recruiting efforts at four colleges and universities led to 30% increase in program enrollment in one year and expansion of ROTC efforts to three additional campuses.

Responsible for overseeing administrative tasks in support of all efforts within Command and Tactics Directorate (CATD) to include budgeting, guest speakers, and community outreach. Oversaw curriculum and instruction provided by all instructors in the Combined Arms Integration Division (CAID) in support of Maneuver Captain’s Career Course and a variety of courses within the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE). Served as advisor team intelligence officer (S2) and intelligence advisor for an Iraqi Federal Police Brigade of 3,300 policemen responsible for the security of major supply routes in Baghdad, Iraq. Conducted intelligence training programs to ensure intelligence officers and staff were properly trained in the gathering of information, analysis of data, and the dissemination of intelligence products. Mentored Iraqi S2 in the analysis and processing of data into intelligence products. Provided daily updates and intelligence summaries to advisor team to maintain situational awareness, prepare for combat patrols, and support Iraqi combat missions.
