KD is a multi-disciplinary user centred innovation and product developmet consultancy.I was responsible for developing new business across the Industrial sector. Key activities were:- growing KD's client base amongst industrial organisations- collaborating with new and existing clients to design product development programmes that rapidly get products to market whilst ensuring they are user centred, commercially viable and technically robust- writing and presenting proposals that tailor KD's broad capabilities across human centred design, engineering and prototyping to meet specific client needs.

Testing new business models. Removing the blockers that stop enthusiastic people who want to innovate from being able to do so. Helping our multi-skilled innovation team to become amazing at getting innovation to deliver results.Key learning from 2017: high customer co-creation appetite is constrained by the bottleneck of integrating promising innovation projects into existing business ways of working. My focus for 2018: establishing the structures, developing the skills and fostering a culture that overcomes the business bottleneck.

Working within Thales' UK Innovation Hub on market focused innovation projects related to Unmanned Air Systems (UAS), Internet of Things (IoT), Autonomy and Digital Transformation.

As part of the business and technical consulting arm of Thales, I run business change projects both internally within Thales and for external clients in critical infrastructure sectors.

Heading up the Aerospace and Defence business group, managing change programmes in the Defence and Security sectors.

Leading change projects in the Defence and Nuclear sector including collaboration, knowledge transfer and restructuring.

Planning and facilitating knowledge transfer projects on an individual, departmental and organisational level - mainly within the defence and nuclear industries.

Full service lifecycle management from initial new business development, through sourcing, interviewing, identifying and recommending suitable candidates, to closing with a successful placement.
