Joint Base Myer - Henderson Hall

Delivers weekly standardized Veteran Affairs (VA) Benefits and Services briefings for audiences consisting of junior, senior, and executive level Service Members separating or retiring from the military. Facilitates one-on-one engagements and pre-separation counseling for Service Members and their families to develop a firm understanding of benefits and services consisting of disability compensation, health care, education and home loans.

Facilitates daily fleet meetings for the Director of Maintenance, Regional Maintenance Directors, Service Engineering, Procurement, and other key personnel to discuss statuses and special needs of the fleet consisting of over 300 air ambulance facilities and over 450 fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. Reviews and submits Special Flight Permits (SFP), Minimum Equipment List (MEL) / Nonessential Equipment and Furnishings (NEF) Deferral Extensions, and Service Difficulty Reports (SDR) to Service Engineering, the Director of Maintenance, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Reviews and processes aircraft out of service (OOS) and return to service (RTS) requests from AMTs operating out of Part 135 (field level) and Part 145 (depot level) maintenance facilities. Assists AMTs with their special needs by knocking down roadblocks between Procurement, Service Engineering, Records, and the various OEM companies consisting of Safran, Rolls Royce, Airbus, Bell Helicopters, Agusta Westland, MD Helicopters, Beechcraft, and Pilatus. Examines and conducts trend analysis on flight packets and historical records sent from the field, then reports discrepancies back to Regional Maintenance Directors and Leads to reduce future errors. Utilizes key applications such as Power BI, RAMCO, Troo Trax, 411, Complete Flight, and KPI Dashboard to provides up to date aircraft and facility statuses through routine communication with Executive Board Members, Directors, and key stakeholders. Prepares slides for monthly Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) meeting by tracking monthly reports and monitoring Deferral Extensions, Special Flight Permits, and Service Difficulty Reports.
