Greater Los Angeles Area

- Advise managers and supervisors on all personnel matters including employee discipline, grievances, labor relations,- Administrative Code, Civil Service Rules, Memoranda of Understanding (MOU), Department policies, and General Manager's Instructions.- Attend first and/or second level grievance meetings and participate in the resolution of employee grievances and the preparation of grievance responses.- Meet with Union Representatives on labor relations matters including the interpretation of MOUs, Department policies and procedures, employee disciplinary matters, grievances, and UnfairEmployee Relations Practice claims.- Investigate complaints, resolve problems, and recommend disciplinary action.- Provide training to all staff in areas such as supervisory skills, EEO and sexual harassment awareness, employee safety, workplace violence prevention, workers' compensation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and employee selection guidelines.- Ensure the Department's compliance on City safety measures and maintain Cal/OSHA logs

- Manage teams of up to 40 field operations specialists and associates in data collection using proprietary software- Work with upper management to co-author safety, training, and operations policy implementation for North America- Interview, recommend, and onboard new hires for the Los Angeles field operations team- Maintain record of field personnel and inventory of field devices and accessories- Lead team building exercises to motivate productivity from team, doubling efficiency between Q2 - Q4- Reduce user error by taking appropriate corrective action when field performance lags expectations- Identify recurring problems and work with both team and upper management to create solutions- Plan, document, and communicate status on moderately complex travel schedules throughout the entire US West Coast- Adjust to constantly changing protocols and communicate smooth procedural transitions for the field
