Continuing to develop CSGF's Talent Practice for the Impact Team by partnering with the community of talent leaders to tackle common challenges across the human capital continuum, identify bright spots and invest in promising people practices that can be transferable across organizations.

Led IDEA's strategy to recruit, develop and retain great teachers, leaders, and other staff members. During my tenure, the organization grew from 36 to 96 schools across six regions, serving nearly 53,000 students in Texas and Louisiana.

Promoted to lead new division, managing three additional direct reports; $1.5MM annual budget. Responsibilities include:• Development of tools, resources, and engagement strategies to improve practices of authorizers.• NACSA's membership function: designing and launching new PD initiatives and benefits for 160+ members.• Planning, content development, and execution of annual conference with over 400 attendees.• Overseeing the revision and deployment of the next iteration of NACSA’s Human Capital programs.• Piloting new headhunting and onboarding service for Executive Director level authorizer leader roles.

Launched new division to increase talent and improve authorizing sector; $1MM annual budget. Accomplishments included:• Creating department vision, goals, and structure; hiring two full-time Directors to take over program execution.• Redesigning Leaders Program: selective cohort-based professional development initiative. 31 individuals will have successfully completed program by October, 2014.• Developing Fellows Program: highly-selective initiative to recruit new talent into authorizing; participants complete high-impact projects during a year-long fellowship in an authorizing agency. Personally coached all six members of first two cohorts; four of whom have been hired into full-time roles in large authorizing offices.
