· Serve on the leadership team to direct program-level strategic planning · Collaborate with team to develop and maintain program goals, · Assist with writing the annual Head Start grant and other grant applications to benefit the program as they become available· Aggregate, analyze, and utilize program data to inform areas for growth and continuous improvement· Lead the development of and monitor the implementation of program policies and procedures· Ensure program and building compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, IN State Licensing, CACFP, Fire Marshall, etc.

· Family Advocate duties· Determine eligibility for families applying to Head Start· Actively recruit families to and manage the volunteer program· Create and maintain relationships with community partners· Monitor overall program attendance· Assist Health Director in coordinating screenings, as well as complete related trainings· Maintain accurate case files· Assist/ lead interdepartmental trainings and meetings

· Develop and maintain a helping relationship with a caseload of seventy families· Assist families in utilizing their strengths and community resources to better the lives of their children, families, and communities· Develop, organize, and facilitate parenting classes, parent committee meetings, parent trainings and workshops· Coordinate with community partners to bring needed resources to Head Start families· Work collectively with colleagues to analyze family services data, resulting in evidence-based programming decisions· Continuously ensure that programming is in line with Head Start Performance Standards

· Provided Case Management services for children and families involved with DCS · Regularly provided skills training, composed written and oral reports, CANS (mental health) assessments, crisis intervention, linkage to resources, and transportationRegularly collaborated with various mental health providers to best serve clients’ needs· Oral drug swab, CPR, and CANS & ANSA certifications
