Throughout my life I have always been fascinated by culture and the unique complexity of each one, and the way that it shapes who we are and what we do. Tourism to me is bigger than just seeing other pretty places; its about understanding each other as humans and acknowledging how and why our differences make us, us. I love constantly learning through experiences and through the people around me, and I see a lot of value in collaborative work with other open-minded people. I am very intentional in the way that I live and like to make sure that everything I do has a purpose that’s bigger than just me. I’ve had a long history of working in customer-centric roles which makes me an expert on the customer experience and has provided me with excellent communication, problem solving, and customer relations skills. I have a specific interest in tourism policy, advocacy, and sustainable economic and community development through tourism and am working towards a professional career in this field.When I’m not studying or working, you can find me at the gym, spending time with my dog, or at a new restaurant with my friends.
