I am a first-generation daughter who had a difficult time making connections while growing up. I found Myself engulfed in books, which helped me discover the meaningful impact a string of words can make on a person. This experience opened me up to creating meaningful connections with those around me and those I interacted with. I went from being an introverted young girl to becoming an outspoken and driven young woman. Professionally, I dedicated myself to a company for 6 years where I entered at entry-level and was then offered several promotions to find myself managing a top-performing store as a general manager. I was able to lead my team to increase overall sales by 17% in comparison to the year prior to the pandemic. A few of my skills include drive, grit, resilience, data analysis, and staff development. I am now looking to thrive in new and innovative work in the tech industry.A little more about myself - I love to travel, go to concerts, and try new foods. I believe that these are the best ways to embrace different cultures and experience what the world has to offer. As previously mentioned, I love to read and believe this is an amazing way to dive into another person’s mind and live through their experiences, a way to learn more about ourselves and self-growth and development, or even just a form of release and leisurely fun.
