Latest biog: A Gateshead lad, Jamie trained at Bretton Hall and has acted extensively nationwide since 2006. Highlights from this time include originating the roles of Harry Clasper in Hadaway Harry (Wisecrack/ION Productions 2015, Wisecrack Productions/Newcastle Theatre Royal 2017) and John Simpson Kirkpatrick in The Man and The Donkey (Customs House 2013/2015) for which he was awarded the accolade Performing Artist of the Year at The Journal Culture Awards 2016. Other credits include James Bradford (The Fighting Bradfords, Durham Gala Theatre), Hamlet (Hamlet, 1623 Theatre), Pvt. Henry Stevens (Death at Dawn, Cloud 9 Theatre), John O’Brien (The Fifteen Streets, ION Productions), and Lysander/Orlando (Midsummer Night’s Dream/As You Like It, Chapterhouse Theatre national tours), as well as featuring as a Recruitment Officer in the BBC’s WW1 at Home series. Elsewhere, Jamie has done stints with Warner Bros, AEG Live, and The Royal Opera House/Ballet among others, as well as being a longstanding member of award-winning 1623 Theatre Company. As a director, Jamie has garnered recognition with Geordie The Musical (Customs House), with its successful initial run earning it another outing later this year.
