With over 20 years of experience working with food, I graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Food Science and a minor in Chemistry. I have a Culinary Arts Degree with high-volume cooking experience. I work in a fast-paced startup environment - skilled at planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities. From my experience, I have gained exposure to a range of food product forms and processes with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. I support US Foods in maintaining quality innovative food products for the foodservice industry. I work directly with Tina Rotella, Senior Product Developer, designing planning, assisting, and executing experiments from benchtop, pilot plant to scale-up trials. I support a cross-functional commercialization team on assortment optimization projects, streamlining cuttings, analyzing and creating specifications, developing training and marketing materials.
