Continuation of my previous role at Green's Windmill, building on the foundations I established with added responsibilities: • Duty manager and key holder of the site. • Ensuring the venue is presented to the highest standards and providing an outstanding customer service to visitors. • Continued development of the volunteer programme. • Events management - researching, planning and hosting all activities. • Development of new business avenues. • Undertaking marketing campaigns, including the use of social media. • Responsible for drafting and releasing PR material. • Administration duties including all email and letter correspondence and record keeping. • Completing fundraising grant proposals.

In my role as Community Participation Co-ordinator at Green’s Windmill I ran the on-site volunteer programme whilst engaging with the local community. Tasks included:- Responsible for recruiting, training and managing a team of over 30 volunteers.- Motivated and supported volunteers to develop their skills in order to lead engaging events and activities.- Liaised with local community groups.- Worked towards the progression of the Windmill, Science Centre and shop.

- Welcome visitors to Green's Windmill & Science Centre and answer questions about the site.- Promote and sell merchandise.- Assist with planning events and activities.- Keep the gardens and relaxation ares in a presentable manner.- Provide research into future directions for the Windmill.

Working on the Nottingham City Museums and Galleries Volunteer Programme in a maternity cover role, I was responsible for:- Recruiting new volunteers to the programme- Providing information to perspective volunteers about the different roles available- Logging volunteer applications and following up their references- Completing travel reimbursements

In a seasonal role as a Customer Services Assistant at stately home, Chatsworth House, I was responsible for carrying out the following tasks:- Provided excellent customer service to ensure visitors had a positive customer experience. - Enjoyed interacting with the general public, provided information and answered questions regarding the site. - Adhered to strict food health and safety regulations. - Undertook visual merchandising tasks. - Handled payments and cashed up.

Worked in the Press Association's vast archive, scanning and retouching negatives, slides and glass plates and captioning images. Extensive use of Photoshop techniques to retouch both archival and digital images in preparation for client reproduction across a range of media including magazines, billboards and marketing collateral. Tasks included:- Cataloguing, editing and organising more than 500,000 images from a premium entertainment photographic archive.- Supervised the day to day management of a retouching team in India.- Retouched over 300 hi-resolution images for permanent display at new Wembley Stadium.- Worked alongside publishing house Ammonite Press to produce 40 photographic books. Helped select and retouch over 250 images per book, these are on sale to the public.

Photographed a range of different subjects for Press Association Images, both sales request driven and proactively. Used post production skills and uploaded these images to their online picture library for purchase. Some of these assignments included: - Covering UK motor racing events- Bespoke photography assignments to meet client requests- Captured product and stock imagery- Current affairs stories

Undertook Picture research to meet client briefs, often within very tight deadlines. Selected images from the Press Association's online and offline picture library and also gathered agent material.
