A highly experienced clinical research professional with over 23 years of experience within CRO, Investigative Site, and pharmaceutical environments. I have been involved in a variety of leadership and management roles. Currently, I am responsible for the functional management of a portion of the Clinical Monitoring Team. i coordinate with members of Clinical Operations to ensure assigned staff are meeting company and study-specific expectations. In coordination with Senior Management and Company Leadership teams, I work to ensure appropriate department strategies and resource allocation. I am responsible for the regular review of performance metrics and study team feedback to ensure assigned staff are meeting company and study-specific expectations. I provide regular training and assist staff with time management and work prioritization. Review budgeted and recorded hours for CRA staff to ensure adherence with budget and timelines for assigned studies. Participate in the bid defense process as appropriate.Before joining the Crovelis family, I was part of the Kapadi (formerly OncoBay) and Premier Research (formerly Health Decisions) teams. I also worked as a home-based CRA for Covance and Ventana Medical Systems (aka Roche Tissue Diagnostics) specializing in project management, electronic Trial Master File implementation and management, pre-study site feasibility and selection, CRO collaboration and management oversight, clinical operations for oncology, IRB submissions and approval maintenance, and cervical tissue diagnostics. As a member of the Roche Tissue Diagnostics, I also collaborated with key members of the other divisions of the Roche family such as Roche Molecular Diagnostics and Roche Pharmaceuticals.I began my career in clinical research as a Regulatory Coordinator/Clinical Research Coordinator and in my 14 years of coordinating research, I gained experience in a wide variety of research areas including: acute care, cardiology, dermatology, podiatry, rheumatology, orthopedics, pediatrics, women's health, nephrology, gynecology, and obstetrics.I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Sociology with a minor in Mexican-American studies from Boise State University. I then went on to complete all graduate coursework for my Master's degree in Education. I am currently completing a Masters at Wake Forest in Clinical Research Management.
