In November 2011, I happily seized the opportunity to move to Jakarta and help set up our first overseas office. Originally we were told we were trying to achieve the impossible, setting up a sales call center in Indonesia. With hard work, a highly talented team and a strong vision, Gopher Indonesia is up and running strong.As challenging as Jakarta can be for doing business and being an expat, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I spent 18 months living in Jakarta and over that time I put my energy and focus into creating a business that would last the long haul. Main responsibilities :Establishing the company's first overseas office from scratchRecreating our company culture and systems from our NZ office to IndonesiaRecruiting/Training/Managing staff who mainly speak Indonesian (90+ in core team)Daily management of all departments (19- 20)Delivering exceptional growth for the company, staff and the businesses we deal withDeveloping a template for overseas expansionAchievements:Developed a Sales Team, Sales Management Structure, Sales Processes and Post Sales / Customer Care Team.Creating a target driven telesales team despite extreme infrastructural challengesActively driving and leading the team day to day toward results that won us a Premier SME Partnership status with Google. (the very first and only such partner in Indonesia)And last but not least, creating a strategy for me to exit Gopher Indonesia as the Country Manager to allow myself to focus on other expansion projects.

In this position I achieved sales targets and increased my numbers month by month.My role reformed into a team leader position where I was conducting one on ones and sales training.In this time I also helped our recruitment and collections team in achieving target.
