I currently graduated from Fort Hays State University with my MBA in Digital Marketing. I previously obtained my communications degree with a dual minor in professional writing and management and a minor in journalism. I was a member of a varsity collegiate sport in which I learned to optimize collaboration and teamwork and built key leadership qualities. When I was a member of the Cortland field hockey team, I also coordinated social media content on our Instagram for the @cortlandfieldhockey page. I edited and designed content for game days, fundraisers, special events, awards, and team updates to promote the athletic team and inform followers of the progression of the season. I utilized stories and highlight reels to increase followers, gain team support, and encourage more students to attend games. I have participated in clubs including Cortland State Television (CSTV) and WSUC-FM The Dragon (radio club) where I engaged in investigative journalism and learned essential broadcasting skills. I also completed an internship as a Health & Wellness PEER Intern at SUNY Cortland where I communicated ideas about health-related topics through posters, social media posts, and events to the SUNY Cortland campus. Developed and executed events including Smore Consent, Celebrate a World of Flavors, Safe Spring Break, and Spiritual Rest. I updated the @healthycortland Instagram page, I was in charge of creating posts, making it user-friendly, editing the design layout to be aesthetically pleasing, increasing social media following, and informing followers of events and programs. I have a few years of experience as wait staff in which I obtained effective communication skills, customer service skillset, knowledge of general business practices, and going through extensive training and learning to train others. I have also been a nanny throughout college in which I gained many skills including communication, problem-solving, organization, and critical thinking skills. I have completed multiple certifications such as Keyword Research from Semrush Academy, HubSpot Academy Content Marketing Certification, HubSpot Social Media Certification, HubSpot Email Marketing Certification, HubSpot SEO Certification, and HubSpot Digital Advertising Certificate.
