Pastor Jamie is the Founder and CEO of Paws & Pastor INC. a Christian-based 501(c)(3) public charity and ministry of First Christian Church, Grifton. This unique ministry incorporates the benefits of pet therapy with pastoral care ministry. Pastor Jamie and Yogi Bear (her pet companion) visit nursing homes, hospitals, schools, and other locations to provide Christian ministry, prayer, theology of canine care, pet therapy and share God’s love, hope, kindness, and compassion. Pastor Jamie and Yogi Bear are a certified and registered team with Pet Partners Animal Assisted Therapy and the special initiatives “Read With Me” Program.Paws & Pastor INC. is a Christian-based 501(c)(3) public charity that incorporates the benefits of pet therapy with pastoral care ministry through ordained clergy and their canine companions.
