During my time with the Lakota Language Consortium, I played a key role in advancing language revitalization efforts by managing diverse projects, events, and communication strategies. I worked closely with leadership to coordinate activities across multiple departments, ensuring that initiatives were executed efficiently and within scope. My responsibilities included overseeing project tracking, quality assurance, and public relations, as well as managing digital media, website updates, and event logistics. I also collaborated on developing resources and served as a liaison for various projects such as the 3rd edition of the New Lakota Dictionary, Lakota Stories, Lakota Vocab Builder 2.0, and many other storybook projects. Our team supported Lakota Langauge Weekends and Lakota Summer Institutes and coordinated Board of Directors meetings and annual speaking events at Tusweca Tiospaye. This experience allowed me to contribute meaningfully to encouraging the adoption and use of the Lakota languages.
