I was recruited by Sony and hired to develop and deploy their remote access infrastructure on a global scale. I oversaw the transition from an IPSEC based VPN system utilizing Nortel Contivity switches and Verizon connectivity over to the Juniper SA-4500 product series in conjunction with RSA/SecurID for authentication and iPass® for global connectivity. I am currently working on a creating a role based RAS environment for our customers, partners and suppliers utilizing our existing infrastructure. I am currently technical lead for global RAS, RSA/SecurID and iPass.

Responsibilities: Management of Lear Corporations' global remote access (SSL & IPSEC) for employees, suppliers, customers and vendors. Management of Lear's Internet DNS servers - F5 GTMDescription: My responsibilities included management of Lear's global remote access hardware and the associated infrastructure. I managed the hardware and associated support for over 25,000 employees and 500+ vendors worldwide. Hardware associated with this position includes F5 GTM DNS servers, Juniper's SA-6000 remote access hardware and RSA SecurID administration. I assumed this position in 2002 to diversify and increase my skill set to include networking infrastructure, DNS and remote access hardware.Previous Responsibilities: For 6 years I managed a10 person Technology Development Group whose responsibilities included management and development of the corporate Intranet, Extranet and Internet web sites, development of corporate portal system for B2E and B2B communication, PC and software development projects.Description: Lear Corporation is one of the world's largest suppliers of automotive interior products. My job was to provide the company with a corporate Intranet, extranet, portal, web site and application development. I started the "Technology Development Group", the group that I managed and that oversaw these responsibilities. I definitely consider myself a "hands-on" manager and got involved in all aspects of my department. I built and installed servers, coded web pages, developed corporate infrastructures for our Intranet and Portal and made presentations to our CEO, CFO and CIO relating to e-commerce, B2B, B2E and Intranet technologies. I interviewed and hired the 10 individuals that worked for me. Talents range from technical writing, server hardware and OS management to ASP, Java and C++ development skills.

I worked for over 14 years for Lear Corporation and helped build out their I.T. department from a smal group of 10-20 in 1994 to the hundreds that now exist around the world. I started as an application developer before becoming a project manager of an 11 person department responsible for all global application development including the coporate intranet. I have expertise in application development, server hardwareand project management before moving into my final position with Lear which was Remote Access where I was directly responsible for deploying their global remote access solution of Juniper SA-6000 hardware combined with global deployment of F5 GTM DNS hardware.

Job Duties: IT Manager responsible for installation and maintenance of station computer network. Description:This was my first job out of college and was recruited to come in and implement a very rudimentary WAN between 3 regionally located radio stations in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The stations required a continuous exchange of information between control rooms regarding airplay of songs and rotation of commercials. The link was also used to digitally transmit commercials between stations. I was a one-man department and installed a very basic LANtastic network with dedicated phone lines and high-speed modems to accomplish the goals. I also wrote customized software for music and commercial log creation.
